Who Was Saint Carlo Acutis?

Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) was an Italian teenager with an extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist. Despite his young age, he demonstrated a profound spiritual maturity and a remarkable ability to use modern technology for evangelization.

A skilled computer programmer, Carlo created websites and designed an online exhibition documenting Eucharistic miracles around the world— a project that continues to inspire millions today.

He was beatified on October 10, 2020, and canonized on September 7, 2025, by Pope Leo XIV, becoming one of the youngest non-martyred saints in the Church's history.
